Clear instruction, easy to follow. Good quality camera work.
Kettlebell complexes made simple is a comprehensive guide on how to perform complex exercises to their workouts. Taco breaks these exercises down into simple steps that are easy to understand and execute, making these exercises accessible to anyone already training with kettlebells or complete novices, and this book accurately illustrates each complex and provides links to YouTube that show taco performing each complex. Worth noting that a lot of the exercises in this book require 2 kettlebells and a range of weights. Worth having access to competition kettlebells as some exercises like the tricep push-ups are far more difficult to execute with smaller cast iron kettlebells. You can build full workouts with these exercises but I tend to add these complexes onto the end of other workouts as finishers if I feel like I still have plenty of gas in the tank. Well worth a read for all kettlebell enthusiasts, you won’t regret buying this book.
My go to for complexes

great for more variety in Kettlebell training
I'm not very far in but I realy like the way Taco explains the movements and the functionality of the course in general i.e the amount of information and the option to pick and choose how much you use. The creativity of the complexes is excellent, they're the best I've seen and they feel great to do.
Excellent information and examples.
Easy and clear explanations; pure education.

primer combo está estupendo
I have read a few of the author’s books and I need to start this review with the statement that this book is in keeping with the standard and quality of all of the author’s previous releases. The book starts with a quick introduction and an explanation of definitions and descriptions relating to training in general. A great addition for someone that may be unsure of what any of the abbreviations or acronyms mean. After that, this book goes straight into the meat. It is purely a description, followed by a breakdown of complexes complimented by pictures to show the movements and in most cases a link to the videos for the complex. This book flows naturally and is very easy to follow even for a Kettlebell beginner. After the complexes there is a little advertising, additional resources (free Facebook support group which is great) along with a raft of additional information. Strangely this information appears at the end of the book when it appears earlier in the author’s other books. This does not really bother myself because you get straight into the book, however some of the information, for beginners, would be better read at the start before trying to complete any of the complexes. This book comes with a link to watch the Kettlebell Complexes Made Simple Videos/DVD which shows the complexes, has a walk through and an explanation of how to progress through the sets and reps for each complex. The fact you get this with the book for the price is just insane. All in all another brilliant book/video series from Taco and one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Taco is one of the best instructors I've enjoyed expanding my knowledge of kettlebells with. I've even taken his kettlebell certification course. Without a doubt his books are indepth, easy to comprehend, and will definitely help take you to that next level of your training. If you've never tried KB training before, now's the perfect time to start.
This is a great addition to your workouts vault! If your into kb’s it definitely throws a great twist to your usual workouts!!
As a kettlebell coach and enthusiast, I've learned a ton from Taco's past publications and Kettlebell Complexes Made Simple is no different! 2hrs of video and 200 pages make the video and eBook a valuable resource to all kettlebell coaches and students. The best part is the level of detail (cues, precautions, etc.) that is in this book: you will learn much more than you could from an Instagram or Facebook post. Moreover, I can easily access all the content from my cell phone. If you need new ideas to teach your students, are new to kettlebell complexes, or want to add something new to your training - you can't go wrong with these products!
Brilliant and very easy to follow guide to excel your Kettlebell training. From beginners to advanced you can improve your fitness and skills with this comprehensive programme of training. A must buy for beginners and fitness professionals.
So you've discovered this thing called a kettlebell. Maybe you've even swung it around a bit, performed a clean or two, or even worked your way up to a snatch. Perhaps you're a seasoned ketllebell girevik and are just looking to mix things up a little bit. No matter what your background with kettlebells is, you are in luck. Taco Fleur's latest addition to his series of instructional books on kettlebells "Kettlebell Complexes Made SImple" has something for everyone within its sweat-stained pages. Fleur demystifies the kettlebell complex for the reader and introduces them to this dynamic way of compounding kettlebell exercises together to train your entire body. This book goes through 15 different kettlebell complexes and combos (as well as some of their variations) in amazing detail. The author not only describes what movements make up the complex, but provides detailed guidance and advice on the placement of body in each and every movement. To support the description of the movements, series of images are provided showing each step, as a handy reference guide to understanding the complex. These pictures allow the reader to not only perform the complex, but also to ensure they are doing so in the most effective and safe way possible. In addition to the complexes themselves, Fleur provides links and guidance on different workouts and circuits that you can do which incorporate the complexes and combos you have just learned. As an added bonus, he provides the reader with useful additional information including, but not limited to, advice on starting weights, a discussion on mind-muscle connection, and a description of all the grips that one can use with kettlebells. As if all of this wasn't enough, there is even an accompanying video available that demonstrates in amazing detail all of the movements for the visual learner. I have always been the kind of person that likes to mix things up with my training routine. Having recently discovered the magic of kettlebells, Fleur's book has provided me the variety and flavour for years workouts. As a relatively new convert to this training method, his meticulous attention to detail also allows me to ensure that I'm performing each individual movement not only how it is intended, but also in the safest way possible. What I liked the best about this book, however, was how Fleur covers all of his bases when it comes to readership and learning styles - he leaves no stone unturned. He describes the entire complex in broad strokes, provides unprecedented detail describing each individual movement within the combo, gives the reader detailed images of each step along the way, provides alternative movements, and even gives links to videos (not even mentioning the video directly associated with the book) so you can see how it is done there as well. Regardless of your learning style or your level of experience with kettlebells, I can absolutely guarantee that you will get something out of this book. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who is training with kettlebells and are curious about complexes and combos. If you are looking to implement these kinds of movements into your kettlebell routines, Fleur's latest book will be an invaluable addition to your kettlebell library.

An excellent resource for any serious student of the kettlebell. I have been following Taco and Caveman Training for a few years. Taco is one of the best kettlebell instructors I've enjoyed expanding my knowledge of kettlebells with. I highly recommend both this DVD and the book.

Brilliant and very easy to follow guide to excel your Kettlebell training.
March 22, 2020 So, I was looking to improve my kettlebell training and further my skills, therfore I decided I wanted to learn more abut kettlebell complexes. This in turn led me to buying "Kettlebell Complexes Made Simple" and I wasn't disapointed. This book is packed with over 20 different combos to work through which should suite all levels and abilities of those who have mastered some of the basic exercises used in kettlebell training. I am by no means an expert but an intermediate user with some skill. Each complex in turn is accompanied with a short description on how to perform the flow along with a series of colourful photographs showing each progression through the complex. This is not a book you have to read or work through from start to finish, but can dip in at will and choose a combo that suites you most. For example, I wanted to start with a simple complex therefore the first combo I chose was the "Burpee Deadlift Combo". Part of the reason for this was it is just two exercises so nice and simple to start out with, but I also like to perform burpees as well. Crazy I know. Also included at the end of this book is some detailed guidance on the anatomy of the kettlebell, how to choose the correct weight for you choosen workout and some detailed information on the different types of grips to boot. There are also snippets of Taco's experience and wisdom littered throughout the pages on the different complexes, and some good motivational stuff as well. The great thing about this purchase is you are not just buying a book, but you get the whole caveman training ethos thing as well. Each complex is accompanied with a link to a video which demonstrates the kinetics for each flow if you need to see the complex in motion. There are also directions on how to join the community groups associated with the book for added support and guidance. For me this book is money well spent. I take it with me everywhere I go when I am on the move. It forms part of my mobile gym along with my kettlebells.
Love the variety and challenge.
Taco first demonstrates the complex, then breaks it down and dissects each move, leaving no misunderstanding to the proper safe execution of the complex.
