I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The descriptions of the exercises are precise, and the images are perfectly accurate. The KB clean variations I've tried so far have been fantastic. As a NASM CPT, I had been working with competition kettlebells for roughly six years before I enrolled in Taco's kettlebell fundamentals course. I recommend that others consider taking his course as well. Taco is an exceptional coach, and his course is essential for anyone committed to kettlebell training and injury prevention.
Good explanations, very detailed, and easy to follow.
The book is brilliant -- a lot of important information not only for long practitioner but for beginners. Very easy to understand, very comprehensive! Includes useful illustrations and gradual progression from easy to difficult material. Well-organized structure.

Taco's deep understanding for kettlebell training is clear on every page, giving readers a lot of good information that's easy to get into. What makes this guide special is its wide range of kettlebell clean variations. It has everything from beginner's exercises to more complicated ones for those who have been doing it for a while. It's rare, if not impossible, to find a book that covers so much, making this guide a top pick for anyone serious about getting better with cleaning the Kettlebell. Besides just the exercises, the guide comes with some workout suggestions that help you use what you learn. One thing that really stands out about this book is Taco's realness. His honest way of sharing his knowledge not only makes the guide more trustworthy but also inspiring to read.

Quite informative about the clean but for developing the right technic, doing a workout you need another book.
A superb book, that breaks down over 70+ Variations of the Kettlebell Clean. This book amplifies the fundamentals of the basics and transforms the kettlebell into a one tool DIY masterpiece.
If you want to evolve your KB game and work on your #clean(s) thats what you should get and train ...5*

I very excited of learning from this book and the videos. I’m new to Kettlebells and really like how Taco lays it all out in simple instructions.
Really helpful to get my kettle bell workouts to the next level.
The information provided was clear and concise. Worth the price.
As usual Taco has knocked it out of the park with this one, concise instruction and insights into everything Kettlebell clean related, I will definitely be dropping some of these tips in my next workshop. Always top quality information. Well done.
As a user of Kettlebells for over two years now, I thought I knew a quite a bit about the different variations of kettlebell exercises. Then came Taco and the Kettlebell Clean book. Wow, what a very descriptive and insightful piece of work. I did not realize that there were so many different variations. Whether you are just starting out or you are looking to add more exercises to your workout library, this book and most importantly, Taco, walks you through the basics to the more complex variations of the clean and press. I highly recommend this resource for any person looking at adding these exercises to their kit bag. The book is well written and when you couple it with the caveman website or YouTube page, you can learn how to add to your workout.
Occasionally you read, or see something, that shows that you not as knowledgeable about a subject as you thought, that's what this great book did to me. I have been using kettlebells for over 6 years and now I read this book and realise that I am only scratching the surface of my KB knowledge. The attention to detail and readability makes this book appeal to everyone from beginners to advanced, and will help you nail the correct form for each clean (who knew there was so many!!) Great book, got me to go back to basics and improve my KB workouts.

I recommand taking this course, don't just buy the book ... It's not very much more expensive and you get so much more (assessment and coaching on your form, Taco really takes is time to give you constructive feedback !) Be ready to video shoot and have at least a pair of bells to do the exercises. I tooked the L3.1 course and had to shoot 20+ videos for assessment, but worth the time doing it :) Thank you !

The single most in-depth book about the kettlebell clean you could ever read. There simply is no other material out there that covers the kettlebell clean as in-depth as this book does. The table of contents alone is a simply mind blowing list of kettlebell clean variations.
March 3, 2020 My first impressions of the book, having read a few of the author's books already, was that the volume of the content contained within blew me away. The author states "there simply is no other material out there that covers the kettlebell clean as in-depth as this book does" and this is not a single word of a lie or an empty statement. Moving onto the table of contents and there is a simply mind blowing list of kettlebell clean variations. There are a few references to other services offered by the author (app, other books, online services etc.) and while in some other books, especially kettlebell books, these are in your face and tiresome, here they are few, far between and for the most part will help you achieve your goals. They are not used as a cheap upsell opportunity (as of the time of writing the app is free to download in the Google Play store). I would like to say that this point that before you get into the body of the book, The Author gives a page of definitions. I personally loved this because although I understand some of the terms this is an excellent addition for the beginner and the intermediate among us. I thought the section about using an appropriate weight for the clean was useful, as I have experienced the problems associated with cleaning too low a weight. As one progresses through the book, you realise just how much time and detail The Author has put in. The clear explanations of squatting movements and hip-hinge movements and how they relate to kettlebell training are beneficial to someone using kettlebells as it allows you to fully understand that the kettlebell is a total body tool. This attention to detail does not let up throughout the book. I simply cannot stress enough how much detail and information is provided within, and throughout this books duration. The first quarter of this book should be read through a few times to allow full retention of the information contained within and this is, effectively, before we have even moved onto the “second section” of this book which is all dedicated to the different ways to perform a kettlebell clean. The final three quarters of this book contain detailed breakdowns of each version of the kettlebell clean. Most of these come with pictures of progression and also links to videos that not only show you how to perform the exercises but also give you guidance on how to incorporate kettlebell cleans into your training and workout sessions. My only criticism of this book is also a positive. While I wouldn't recommend this book for someone that is picking up a kettlebell for the first time (The Author has books that are more appropriate for a first timer) there would be absolutely no harm in doing so as every point you could desire is covered in the initial chapters of this book. For an absolute beginner they may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information in this book, that said, as someone with a few years of kettlebell experience behind them, the benefit of this information outweighs the overwhelm that might come with seeing this abundance. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book, and any of the authors other books, to anyone looking to improve their kettlebell clean and overall kettlebell practice and training efficiency.
The book is great! It offers so many approaches and variations for the kettlebell clean — simply excellent. I have been working with kettlebells for quite a while (hardstyle) and through the book (and the certification) I learned things that brought my kettlebell activities miles forward. 5 stars — because more is not possible.
July 23, 2018 The book is splitted in 2 sections: the first describes the kettlebell in all its parts and the second goes deep on Clean. 1. Great work of descripiton OF EVERY ASPECT of the Kettlebell! From the anatomy of a Kb to the grips! In this section the author explains how to work with KB and avoid injuries, bruises ecc. ecc. even he gives a very important explanation on the Squat. Learn how to squat it's very important in this kind of sport. After this we find a chapter dedicated to the HIP HINGE, how to do it and how to avoid the common mistakes. A section is dedicate to how to Rack and why is so important. Here we find a lot of photos of Taco showing how to do the things in the right way and even some drawing with the right spine position for racking. 2. After this first part we go deep with esson: let's speak about CLEAN. Here the author shows how to do about 70 variations on CLEAN! clean is basically a single exercise but one of the most important! know how to do and face every single variation on the theme becomes important because only in this way can you say that you know this exercise in every facet. From here to the end of the book we'll find every single variation on the exercise describing: Movement, start, power, path, transition, hand and kb used. Every type of clean is accompained by a video in wich is shown how to do it in the right way. However we find a lot of photo on the book that do the same thing. Moreover we find at the end of some variation a suggested workout to learn how to master that paricular exercise.
