An excellent book. The daily drills helped me perfect my snatch technique. Understanding the physics speed up the learning curve. The only criticism I have is the book should also include the clean physics to make the purchase price more worthwhile, and I believe it is important to master the clean prior to the snatch. I dropped 1 star for this reason. Still, of all the books I own by the author, this is my favorite.

Taco takes one of the most complex and physically taxing kettlebell exercises and breaks it down into easy to understand chunks that make performing this hard to master exercise easy for anyone from beginners to advanced practitioners. After the kettlebell swing, I would say the snatch is one of the most beneficial exercises you can add to your training regime. If your are a kettlebell enthusiast then this book and exercise are a must. When I bought this book I was already using the kettlebell snatch in my workouts. But like all of Taco’s books, you will always learn something new. This book helped me refine my technique and remove the risk of any snatch related shoulder injuries that you may be exposed to as you start to snatch heavier weights. Excellent read.

In this book Taco’s gives an excellent guide on how to host a workshop for CrossFit boxes, coaches and athletes. I was not expecting to get a lot of value from this book as I’m not a coach and do not intend on running a workshop of my own. What It did reiterate for me was a breakdown of the main exercises included in the workshop and how to set up properly to execute each exercise, and describes the different styles of each exercise. Definitely one for the collection.

Look, no disrespect to anybody, but these authors are soooo late to this party. Let's face it, Pavel is the reason why these books even exist, yet they portray themselves as overnight authorities on the subject. Anything by Pavel, Cotter, Maxwell, Mahler etc are the BEST resources out there. These guys were the FIRST on the KB scene & everyone else beyond that initial surge are merely satellites- standing on the shoulders of giants who paved the way.

This book sets out a 21-day program to improve your kettle bell snatch. The kettle bell snatch is one of the fundamental exercises to do with kettle bells. This book breaks down the movements into smaller, digestible skills that build on each other. It offers plenty of pictures, and links to videos to illustrate the skills taught. I like Taco Fleur's writing style. He is very to the point, and gives little details that other authors often miss. The new beginner or kettle bell veteran will benefit from this program. I highly recommend.

Cavemantraining and Taco have become my new obsession. The quality of the books, videos, workouts, everything, is amazing. Snatch Physics covers everything a new kettlebell enthusiast or someone like me who's been training with kettlebells for almost 18 years needs to know! It's packed with great information. Caveman training is an incredible resource for kettlebell information and INSPIRATION!! I'm hooked!!

The snatch is arguably the most technical lift. Especially in GS. A number of sources use different ways to explain it. For me, this book takes a great approach by breaking it down in very small pieces thereby allowing the reader to move through the technique. There is probably something here for everyone.

This is a real GEM of a book for all who want to master the Girevoy kettlebell snatch, as well as understand the difference between Girevoy and Hardstyle methods for performing the Tzar of kettlebell training. Full of super-thorough explanations and pictures, and written in Taco's characteristic no-nonsense manner, it really helps break the movementas down into the smallest of components and perfect each detail in s systematic and progressive manner. As a kettlebell coach and practitioner of both styles, I loved the in-depth discussion of the nuances of the movement. Taco shares his immense wealth of knowledge and experience in a relevant and step-by-step fashion, pulling together anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and physics and applying it all in a targeted fashion to teach you the snatch like you've never learnt it before. After reading this book, you or your snatch will never be the same :)
